This nostalgic tour covers a tiny area in Beirut around Hamra Street that was the center of life during its heyday from the 1960s through the mid-1970s. The movie theaters, sidewalk cafes, and posh boutiques are just memories. The tour starts at Adonis Street, and continues chaotically through Hamra Street in the opposite direction of the traffic in Lebanese tradition, stopping randomly at mothballed movie theaters.
