The John Smith Expedition Race cuts through 1,000 nautical miles of the Chesapeake Bay. Teams will find themselves going up narrow rivers, through wetlands and avoiding cargo ships. Just one rule. No engines. This is entirely driven by human and wind power. There are 8 mandatory points in this race. Slaughter Creek MD, Seaford DE, Pocomoke City MD, Jamestown VA, Tappahannock VA, Washington DC, Annapolis MD and Baltimore MD. This is one of the sailboats Chad will be sailing this year.
