This is Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial House. The house is located at Magomeni, Dar Es salaam Tanzania. The house was built by the first president of Tanganyika (later Tanzania) (Julius Kambarage Nyerere) back in the years 1950’s. All secret meetings and tricks to remove the colonial rule in Tanzania were done in this house. Currently the house is a Museum of J.K. Nyerere. The museum is full of attractive artifacts used by Nyerere and his family when living in this house. Welcome take a virtual tour of Nyerere’s House.
