About Me and the Unapologetically Eastside Virtual TourI am a board member of the East Side Community Development Corporation (ECDC), committed to preserving and sharing the rich culture and history of Charleston's Eastside. Through the Unapologetically Eastside Virtual Tour, we aim to honor the stories and traditions of our community while bridging the digital divide by making this history accessible to everyone.The tour is an immersive, interactive experience featuring eight stops, each based on historical markers developed by Mr. Bradford and the Clemson University Historical Preservation Architecture graduating class. These stops will highlight significant landmarks, events, and people who have shaped the Eastside over the past century. Each stop will offer a deeper look into the heritage that makes the Eastside unapologetically unique.By following these stops, you can engage with the powerful stories of the Eastside’s past and gain a deeper understanding of its cultural significance.
