Barnwood Park is a 11-16 co-educational comprehensive school in Gloucester which has seen significant changes and sustained improvements over the last five years. Barnwood Park was asked to expand in size and become co-educational. Boys started at Barnwood Park since 2018 and, in 2019 July 2019 Ofsted again judged Barnwood Park to be a Good school in all judgement areas. By September 2022, all of our year groups of 180 students will be co-educational.

At Barnwood Park, we ensure our students feel safe in an environment where they can work hard, learn effectively, enjoy their journey and be successful. All of our stakeholders join together and build strong relationships to become a part of the Barnwood Park family. With the challenges that young people have faced due to Covid-19, our twin focus on academic excellence going hand in hand with supportive and personal pastoral care, has been essential in ensuring young people have moved forward happy and confident making a positive difference in our society.

Barnwood Park have 3 Guiding Principles which are fundamental to all members of our community and reflected in our actions. These principles are: Live without harming others; do acts of kindness; and show respect for others.
